Live Chat Software – ChatStat


If you are having trouble with updating to the new patch, please follow these instructions.

1. First, try to simply restart ChatStat, this should cause the automatic update to occur, followed by the new version of ChatStat opening.

2. Next, try manually updating ChatStat.  First exit ChatStat and then click on and RUN this link > http://downloads.chatstat.com/setup.exe

3. If steps 1 or 2 do not solve your problem, try manually running the CSUPDATER.exe file, located in your ChatStat program directory.

If non of thes solutions work, please go to our website at www.chatstat.com and click on the button for LIVE ASSISTANCE. We will provide further help.

If these steps do not succeed, you can also temporarily run the older version of ChatStat by opening: c:\program files\CHATSTAT\chatstat.exe
This will bypass the AUTO UPDATER and get you up and running right away.

ChatStat 3.1.3.0 Updates / Change list

1) fixed issue with conversation window editor to allow global font.. will allow people to change the font style on the questionare window

2) Dial Pad moved to new tab. Visible when skype is connected

3) New Setting -> Cache Callbacks found in Free Feature Configuration -> Callback Management
Main -> Free Feature Configuration will have a new tab to manage callbacks..
When the option for cache callbacks is checked callbacks will be saved locally
this will allow you to keep a local list of all callbacks.. callbacks displayed in the
Call Center will remain the same and operators will only be able to see callbacks
that are either a) unassigned or b) assigned to you…
admins will no longer be able to see the callback if another operator has possession

4) Grid View Mode -> Local Conversation tab will show correct conversation for each visitor.. if the visitor does not have local transcript nothing will show for that visitor

5.) Updated account creation welcome email. PLO affiliates will not send a chatstat welcome email

6.) Optional phone number added to account creation

7.) In Paid Feature Configuration -> Multiple Websites
uers will be able to check option for go directly to chat. when this option is checekd it will skip
the questionare portion of the web chat window

8.) In Main -> Configre Operators
each opreator will have a new check box for disable IM… when checekd all messengers (except skype) will be disabled for that operator

9.) Update to connect on startup.. IM’s will only connect on startup when chatstat is set to connect on startup
ChatStat will connect 1st skype will connect last

10.) When the BUTTON is pressed to activate a FEATURE ON DEMAND. a window will show to say the following “THANK YOU. This feature on Demand is now active.”
[OK]

11.)In the Configure window of the FoD called ‘Logo and Conversation window’, the bottom of the screen has two buttons. Close and Save and close.
I think it would be better to remove the second “and close”.
changed buttons 1 says save & one says close

12.) if USER INFORMATION is unfolded, it should never be more wide or more tall so as to cause a SCROLL BAR to appear.
When user information 1st appears no scrolling will be needed

13.) Visual Co-Browse will use new api for Thumbnails (note if your site has a redirection you may increase the amount of time it takes before the thumbnail picture is taken)


14) Free Feature Configuration -> HTML Management -> Your CSUID = XX [lower right]

15.) CHANGE THE DOUBLE CLICK NEEDED TO OPEN A FEATURE ON DEMAND TO A >>>> SINGLE CLICK.

16.) new menu option added to the Main -> Configure Websites

17.) Flash window default settings changed:
Increase height by 50 PIX
Take out the type about
CHATSTAT REPS ARE AVILABLE changed to Chat Live Here

The final 3.x patch is comming. Next we go to version 4.0

We have a small final revision patch comming for version 3.0 of our live chat and customer enagement system.

 I will post the change log here the moment it is available. Probably within 72 hours of this post.
