More Graphs, More Features, and a BIG SURPRISE.

More statistical moving graphs are being built now.

We have a major new feature set comming, more details tomorrow…

and a BIG BIG BIG SURPRISE… I cant wait to tell you all.

VERSION 2.2.16 is now released.

Ok, our latest patch is out. To get it just start Chatstat and the AutoUpdater will automatically stream down the latest patch and apply it.

Here is a description of the major modifications:

Multiple Site Live Chat is now online. This means that you can now provide live human support for up to five websites. Each of the multiple websites you wish to add will appear in the list of sites at the top of the

MovingGraph statistics is now online and MULTI SITE AWARE. Our first MovingGraph, “Unique IP’s Over Time” is now fully operational. Starting just a few hours after the update completes, you will now see working movinggraphs. Dont be alarmed by what appears as empty data, this is just information that has not yet filled in. Each and every hour this graph will show more and more data as it is collected filling from left to right. In about FIVE days you will see a full graph that is accurately filled with data. You can refresh the graph once per hour to see the data streaming in. Our next version will stream strait into this graph. This system is now also Multi-Site aware, so you can watch the statistics across several websites at the same time, each showing stats individually.

Directlink eBay, Email, and Forum Signatures is now active. Now you can put your LIVE CHAT ICON in your ebay auctions, at the bottom of all outgoing emails, and within discussion forums. Anywhere you can place a LINK you can now create a channel for discussion with your customers!

Much much much faster and more stable. This is our fastest and most stable version yet.

Integrated CALL CENTER is now operational. This new flyout can “pile up” incomming “CALL ME BACK NOW” request and let you answer them by VOIP or regular phone.

Typing in Progress Indicator. Now you can see when other people are typing. We are working on a preview button for this now.

Complete LOG FILE sorting and viewing is now up. You will now notice a small LOG FILE icon in the top right side of the main chatstat client. If you click on this you will be presented with a list of all of the conversations you have had with customers or other IM buddies. You may turn logging off if you wish in the admin panel as well.

Enhanced Department manager now Multi-Site Aware. You can now place operators in multiple sites, and in multiple departments. You can also limit access of operators from Admin to Standard.

Improved Instant Messaging Support. Many enhancements and fixes have been made to the IM system.

ICON EDITOR now in place. You can now create, edit, and upload your own LIVE CHAT ICON SETS. Chat forms and chat invitations are next.

Better Graphics on main GUI. No more funny progress bar, now we have separate indicators for streaming and connections. The squared interface can now also be made wider! Just grab the sizer bar and make it as wide as you wish. We have also added other graphics that make things easier to understand.

Yes, we are running an hour late, but we are going to have the time to add one last feature we know you all want, TYPING IN PROGRESS INDICATOR will be going in as well! I will post a full list of the features and fixes here at 7pm.

Quick Tip, using email, ebay, and forum signatures.

I have been doing this alot lately. If you need help setting this up send me an email to nick@chatstat.com.

Basically, just choose the EBAY HTML , and CUT only the link out, and then use this link to form what ever signature you wish, which you can put anywhere.

If you are away from your computer, make sure you set your AUTO AWAY to OFF> not to the default 3 mins, or you could find that your not getting alot of conversations! Then, make a mental note to click on the AWAY button (the green circle, top right corner of main client) to mark yourself away when you really are.

NEXT MINOR PATCH: Weds at 6pm EST.

 I want to wrap up all odds and ends by Dec 1^st.  Stabilize what we have completely,  maybe have some small additions here and there, but for the most part get it 100% working, further optimize memory usage, and make it faster etc…..

 

On December 1^st, I would like all BETA links, images etc off the website. At this point we will 100% GOLD/LIVE like the other sites state.

Upon going GOLD , all FOD options will be enforced/enabled.   Somewhere on our site lets inform users of this date.

 After that I would like to begin a PROPER Development cycle / patch release. Nick you know what I mean from our MonsterCommerce times.

Its better that we start creating dev cycles, procedures, policies now, so that when funding is in place and we have a lot more ppl on the team, things will proceed smoothly.

NOTE from Nick: At that time we will begin enforcing the FOD system. Everybody will receive a 15 day free trial from DEC 1. Keep in mind however, much of ChatStat is STILL FREE, and will remain so!

TODAYS top 10 fixes!

1.)    When web users say NO THANKS, the operator is now properly notified.

2.)    Original Help Question from the main page form fill out on the web side is now properly displayed to the operator.

3.)    Clicking no thanks on an operator to web visitor chat init now no longer displays a red “X”

4.)    Click NO Thanks now properly works in IE and FireFox and will disappear after 2 seconds after being clicked.

5.)    Canned Responses fixed.

6.)    ChatStat Reconnect on Disconnect fixed

7.)    Get Site HTML in the Settings section is now fixed

8.)    Operators can now type URLS that are clickable to the clients

9.)    Upgrade menus in the main part of the GUI will no longer disappear behind the main GUI. Before it would go BEHIND the main gui from time to time. This is fixed

10.)  Preparations for upgraded stats engines going out in tonights patch
