Wallet system going active late tonight.

Late tonight our new wallet system will be going on-line. The ‘wallet’ signals the official launch of our much anticipated Features On Demand (FODs)- advanced capabilities of ChatStat which we bill for on a value basis. That means you select the FODs you need for your business to succeed, and ChatStat charges you only for those capabilities that give you that value.These are EXCITING times at ChatStat. Tonight’s release V2.2x is our officially go live release!!

As such, the beta period has come to an end. We very much appreciate all our early and faithful customers input and suggestions and we hope that you have enjoyed using the ChatStat software, and that it has outperformed your expectations.

We believe our Features On Demand will make ChatStat the uncontested leader in Customer Interaction Systems. Total Technical Superiority and a fair price will be our moto.

MovingGraph is now showing for most people.

Most sites now have enough stats recorded to show you a MovingGraph.

Please click on the MOVING GRAPH ICON, which is just  below and to the right of our logo in the MAIN CHATSTAT IM CLIENT. Top left.

It is the first of the five icons going across the top row. Click this and choose UNIQUE IPs and you will see the MovingGraph system come into action.  Remember, here are the basic controls:

LEFT CLICK> ZOOM OUT

RIGHT CLICK> ZOOM IN

MOVE MOUSE TO LEFT SIDE OF GRAPH> PAN LEFT

MOVE MOUSE TO RIGHT SIDE OF GRAPH> PAN RIGHT

Note if you zoom in far enough you can see HOUR bars within DAY bars.

Wallet and Installer.

Tonight we will be releasing the Wallet. This is a place where you can put your credit card information on file. This system is housed in an “off-net” hardened security server and uses 128BIT SSL security encryption to store all sensitive information.

Additionally there will be a new installer, which unlike the current one, can download on the fly the latest version of ChatStat over the internet, regardless of where you get the setup file from.  Just another way to ensure that our customers have a no hassle experience.

Features on Demand is now active.

I want to take a moment to thank our beta testers for their LOYAL support and patronage thus far.

Now that the Feature on Demand system is live, you will notice that some parts of the ChatStat software require you to turn them on before they can be used. In most cases this is automated. Here is a brief run down of hot it works:

General Information on using Features on Demand:

Interface Controls and Performance Controls. The primary difference is that Interface Controls cover the features that are within the ChatStat interface itself, like the ability to view additional MovingGraphs or handle Multiple Departments. Whereas, Performance Controls set the speed and capabilities of the ChatStat client overall.

Enabling Interface Controls
To enable an Interface Control simply go to the area where you would like to use. If it is grey or disabled click on the ENABLE FOD BUTTON located in the bottom right hand corner of the interface area. This will open the Feature on Demand Control Panel and initiate a 7 day trial of the feature. If at the end of the trial you choose to keep the feature activated you will be prompted for payment information. If you already have payment information on file, the Feature on Demand will become permanently added to the list of services we provide you and bill for each month. Click the OK button to begin using the trial. You can go back to the Feature On Demand Control panel and click on the BILLING INFORMATION> SUMMARY menu at any time to check the currently enabled Features on Demand as well as view the amount of time you have left on any trial features you are trying. This is the last menu choice on the main Feature on Demand menu.

Enabling Performance controls.
To enable or change a Performance Control, you must open the Feature On Demand Control Panel and click on the Performance control of choice. First enable the performance control by clicking on the Enable checkbox. Then, using the slider bar, set the level of performance for each control you wish to edit.

Multiple Site Support.

A small glitch in our code is causing multiple site support to be unable to start. The warning box says you must have a credit card on file.
Please hit ok, and disregard this message. You can turn on the Multiple Site Support FOD by then clicking on the Check Box.
We will be fixing this small glitch first thing in the morning.

The new patch is now officially out.

Here are a few last minute fixes that went in just under the wire:

1. MOVINGGRAPH should now work. If your having troube getting it to work please follow these steps:

a. Exit ChatStat
b. please delete the contents of the C:\Program Files\ChatStat\StatData folder. This will clear your stat cache of any corrupted or outdated records.
c. Restart ChatStat and allow it to download your new stats. You can see this happening bottom left corner (small spinning green circle).
d. If you still get an error, its probably true you dont have enough stats yet. Please be patient as the MovingGraph system cannot display until a minimum number of records is recorded.

2. Sound added to Web Visitor side.

3. One extra free graph is being added, its called TOTAL HITS. It uses the same data as our other free graph, UNIQUE IPS OVER TIME, except it simply doesnt show only unique IPs (Unique visitors), but rather the sum total of all visits, unqiue or not. Basically, this can show you the overall amount of traffic, not just who came.

The patch is about to go up. Downtime will be five minutes.

Please stand by while we install this major patch, service will be restored in minutes.
