ChatStat V3.3 release Notes Another exciting release is upon us. The ChatStat Application continues to mature as our customer base expands faster than ever. We want to extend a general thank you to all of our valued customers that continue to provide us feedback and recommendations on how to improve our wonderful product. Keep it coming! New Features, Enhancements and Important Changes
You will definitely want to check all these features out. We could not wait for Version 4 to deliver these to you so we added them to this interim release. 

  1. First and foremost we have completed revamped the Feature On Demand menu and control panel. We have done this in an effort to make Administration and Control more streamlined, and to give you our customers, a straight-forward and flexible interface that helps you take advantage exactly the features you need when you need them.

    PLEASE take the time to visit this updated panel to discover all the features on demand that you an easily Trial, purchase and or terminate as you see fit. ENJOY.

  2. The Call back function in the call center has been significantly enhanced to improve usability and flexibility for operators.

    All call backs registered in the call center now have a RIGHT CLICK option. Doing so provides operators a menu. Next step workflow features include:

    TAKE POSSESSION of this call. If an operator selects this option, it causes the CALL BACK REQUEST to only be available for that Operator from then until the call is closed, or possession is released.

    Calls that are “possessed” will always appear as GREY at the bottom of the list of active calls that have not been answered.

    Similarly, if an Operator has possession of a call, he or she can right click to GIVE POSSESSION, which releases their Possession and

  3. We have also expanded the NOTES capability for call back. Now these can be appended. Furthermore the NOTE text has been moved to a Tool tip that is easily viewable when you mouse over the Note Icon. The notes no longer change the main console layout.

  4. Based on customer feedback and a high level of support issues, we have elected to remove the “Sign in As Away” option (tick box) when chatstat starts. For customers that had this feature enabled ou will have a sign in status of “available”.

    Additionally the AUTO AWAY default setting has been changed to 30 secs.

  5. The Operator side chat conversation window has been enhanced to contain more visitor details including; Browser Type, Machine (OS) Type, Country Flag, and Language.

  Minor Enhancements, Fixes and UpdatesMost users will never know these issues ever existed

  1. The Operator Seats FoD – Operator Manager was updated to more effectively control operator counts and operator configuration. When Operator Seats reach the maximum licensed number
    1. User will be notified to trial, if the feature has not been trialed
    2. User will be notified to Purchase if they have a wallet but not sufficient seats.
    3. User will be notified that the subscription is currently on trial, is currently subscribed or subscription is marked for cancellation.

  2. The Referring URL in Grid View display has been has been would sometimes cover the referring keywords which would prevent the keywords from being dispayed correctly…
     Referring url will now display under the keywords and referral search keys will be visible

  3. We have corrected a problem when connecting to AIM using a screen name containing spaces…In the past, the connection failed and Chatstat did not respond

  4. As many of you may have noticed, we changed Language translation vendors. We now partner with www.LEC.com to provide the industries ONLY Live chat language translation on-the-fly.

    This new partnership has added support for many new languages. You will also notice that when language translation is activated the language set is displayed clearly for the operators.

    Check it out if you have not already!

  5. Department Editor will no longer show blank rows when no departments exist

  6. The HTML Management tab in Preferences and Settings, which contains email and live chat snippet code, are now accessible for all operators even non-administrators

  7. We have resolved an issue where user that disconnected could not reconnect, and was forced to close and restart.

  8. When connecting to AIM and Yahoo the @aol, @yahoo is not needed. Adding the suffix will prevent connection. To work around this issue we have added a message box to inform client to remove the @aol / @yahoo.com.

  9. In Yahoo IM there was a provide with Vista UAC, so we have removed writing of error logs to C[EdB2] :\

  10. The Auction Snippet has been updated to correct problem with image not showing

  11. We have corrected check box display issue in Startup Options, Alerts and Notifications[EdB3] 

  12. We have eliminated sound Alerts that interrupt each other.

We will be putting out a small patch on Sunday that addresses various bugs and operator account creation. Additionally we will address a few issues submitted by users in our last request for feedback.
